Lakeside Diving and Watersports Centre right next to The Boardwalk offers some of the most exciting ranges of activities in Essex.

The 22 acre lake adjacent to Lakeside and The Boardwalk provides many water-based activities including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, powerboating, rowing boats, pedalos and fishing.

‘Have a go’ sessions for sailing, windsurfing and kayaking run most days and evenings in the summer, where you can try out the sports for a bit of fun.  Book your place in advance, as all bookings are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Or if you like something a little more 'hardcore', why not take a spin on their brand new 'Desert Busters' - round, flat discs (hold 2 people) that skim you across the lake.
