The Lakeside Christmas Club makes it easy to put something aside and our gift vouchers/card are redeemable at more than 300 shops, restaurants and entertainment venues at Lakeside and our neighbouring retail park. You can save as little as £5 a time and top up your account as and when you like. This scheme is safe, secure and a great way to spread the cost of Christmas and you can start saving right away.

Christmas Club Terms and conditions.

  1. Only one account per person
  2. Vouchers and non refundable or transferable
  3. The gift vouchers are issued on behalf of Capital Shopping Centres PLC (CSC). Gift Vouchers can be exchanged for goods and services at participating retail, leisure or service outlets (retailers) within shopping centres owned and/or operated by CSC. At the time of issue the shopping centres where this Gift Voucher may be exchanged are: Lakeside, Thurock; The Glades, Bromley; The Harlequin, Watford; The Chimes, Uxbridge; The Victoria Centre, Nottingham; The Potteries, Stoke-on-Trent; Metro Centre, Gateshead; Eldon Square, Newcastle; Braehead, Renfrew; and Chapplefield, Norwich.
  4. At the time of redemption the name of the retailer at which the Gift Voucher is to be redeemed should be entered in the space marked ‘pay’.
  5. Gift Vouchers can provide full or part payment for goods and services. They cannot be exchanged for cash nor used to purchase foreign exchange. No change will be given in cash or voucher form except at the retailers discretion. Gift Vouchers cannot be used in full or part payment of a store card account.
  6. Gift Vouchers must be used within 12 (TWELVE) months of the issue date, after which time they will cease to be valid. CSC may at its sole discretion issue a replacement if the original is returned to the Customer Service desk together with proof of purchase.
  7. Neither CSC nor any retailer will accept any responsibility if a gift voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged whether it has been redeemed or not. Nor will CSC accept any liability for consequential or other loss how so ever caused and in any event CSC’s liability shall be limited to the face value of the Gift Voucher.
  8. Only genuine Gift Vouchers featuring the hologram, thermochromic feature, serial number, the authorised signature and date of issue will be accepted. Retailers and CSC reserve the right to refuse to redeem any Gift Vouchers that they reasonably believe are not genuine.
  9. CSC reserves the right to discontinue the Gift Voucher Scheme at any time. Should the scheme be discontinued reasonable measures will be taken to notify the fact within the Shopping Centres. CSC accepts no liability for the loss or damage, however caused, as a result of participation in the Gift Voucher scheme or as a result of the Gift Voucher scheme being discontinued or as a result of any retailer(s) withdrawing from the Gift Voucher Scheme. However, all existing Gift Vouchers will continue to be valid until the expiry of the Gift Vouchers.

January promotion Terms and Conditions

  1. The free £10 gift voucher offer is only valid for accounts opened in January 2008 this £10 Gift Voucher will be available for collection after 1st November 2008.
  2. Every £100 saved an extra £5 will be added to the account opened in  January 2008.
  3. This promotion only applies to saving a maximum of £1000.00 - Total saving of £50.
  4. A minimum of 5 separate deposits must be made to the account by 1st November 2008 for the promotion to be valid.
  5. Only one account can be opened per household.
  6. No CSC/ GBM staff to take part in promotion.
